DSP Group DECT ULE Chipset Solutions to Power Crow Group Home Automation & Security Systems

DSP Group®, Inc. (NASDAQ: DSPG), a leading global provider of wireless chipset solutions for converged communications at home, and Crow Electronic Engineering Ltd, a leading provider of advanced security and control solutions for the worldwide integrated security market, announced today that the companies will jointly develop DECT Ultra Low Energy (ULE)-based home security, control and automation solutions. Bringing together DSP Group's deep technological expertise along with Crow Group's broad and high quality product portfolio, the solutions will expand the range of new services offered by service providers and retail channels, benefiting of significantly lower deployment costs.

DSP Group's DECT ULE-compliant chipset solutions will be integrated with Crow Group’s devices, which include an array of motion sensors, smoke/gas/glass-break detectors, remote-controlled AC sockets and other control devices. DECT ULE-enabled devices can leverage ubiquitous DECT home systems via a broadband home gateway or standard DECT PSTN base. Due to their easy registration and pairing as well as simple system topology, the devices will be suitable for diverse business models ranging from do-it-yourself (DIY) retailers to professional installers.
