Job Description:
As a Senior Analog Designer this individual will be involved in all aspects of IC development including: - Interacting with HW and systems engineers to understand system requirements and develop specifications - Completing schematic capture, circuit analysis, and simulation - Directing the layout team to guide the critical IC layout aspects - Working closely with test engineering to ensure testability during production - Performing silicon bench evaluation and troubleshooting - Writing documentation, including plans, reports, and presentations |

Required Qualifications:
Experience: 8+ years of analog and/or mixed signal design experience in a semiconductor environment including knowledge and experience in the following: - Solid analog IC circuit design fundamentals - Thorough understanding of all aspects of IC design including layout matching and parasitic requirements, system and test issues, etc. - Transistor-level analog circuit design skills - Lab and silicon validation/debug skills including data acquisition and analysis - Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills for working in cross-site teams - Knowledge of device physics and advanced process technologies - Power management and/or Data Path (ADC, DAC, Filters) experience - Demonstrated ability to develop products from concept to release to manufacturing - Knowledge of Analog circuit design trade-offs and parameters (e.g. noise & distortion, frequency-response, bandwidth, stability & settling limitations) |
